AMY Macdonald has been making sweet music at the home of the Beatles - the famed Abbey Road studios.
The Scots singer is due to release her fourth album after selling more than 9 million albums around Europe.
Fans have been clamouring for new tracks since her last album Life In A Beautiful Light was released in June 2012.
Since January Amy has been  teasing fans about putting the finishing touches to her songs for her latest offering and even told them she had one of her highest vocals ever on a song.
She said at one point: "Thoughts from today's studio session... Why do I always write songs that are so bloody hard to sing?!? Highest vocal ever!!😳🙋🏻 ."
She later told them: "Got a load more final vocals to do on this week and next. Also have some time booked to record at Abbey Road. How cool?! 🙋🏻🎤🎸🎼❤️
Despite leaving her beloved dog Arnold behind in Scotland, she made good progress on Valentine's Day and revealed she was two thirds of the way into finishing the project.
Returning home four days later she said: "It's such a nice feeling going home when you've been away for a bit! Album sounding Ah-may-zing! I'm not biased at all... 😂🙈🙋🏻
Amy returned to Abbey road at the start of this month along with her backing vocalist and producers and by the looks of things she's almost finished.
The star is playing lots of new live shows this summer so could a cheeky wee appearance at T in The Park be on the cards?
She recently said she was eyeing up a Bugati Chiron, the world's fastest road car, but claimed she had to finish her album before even contemplating it..

Maybe she'll come to Strathallan all revved up.

IN Betweeners' actress Emily Atack is to star in the UK tour of Breakfast at Tiffany's - and comes to Scotland in May and June.
Emily will share the role of Holly Golightly in the production from May 2-7 in Aberdeen's His Majesty's, May 23 - May 28  in Glasgow's Theatre Royal and May 30 -June 4 in Edinburgh's Kings Theatre after she was drafted in to replace Verity Rushworth, who has had to withdraw because she is expecting her first child.
Emily will now share the role with Pixie Lott, whose dates, including the West End season, have been announced previously.
The blonde actress recently starred in the remake of Dad’s Army, which topped the UK box office earlier this year, but  is best known for her role as Charlotte Hinchcliffe in the award-winning E4 series The Inbetweeners
Before acceoting the role as Holly Golightly she shot Iron Sky 2 alongside comedian Tom Green, and Lies We Tell opposite Harvey Keitel, Gabriel Byrne and Gina McKee.
She said of her new role, "I am so flattered and honoured to be playing Holly Golightly; to take such an iconic role as my stage debut is both incredibly exciting and challenging.  I can't wait to get started and plan to have as much fun with it as possible.  I'm very much looking forward to getting in front of an audience and going on this journey with them every night.”Also in the cast of Breakfast at Tiffany’s are Matt Barber (Atticus Aldridge in Downton Abbey) as Fred, Victor McGuire (the sit-coms Trollied and Bread) as Joe Bell, Robert Calvert as Doc, Naomi Cranston as Mag, Charlie De Melo as José, Tim Frances as Rusty Trawler/Editor at 21, Andrew Joshi as Yunioshi, Melanie La Barrie as Mme Spanella, and Sevan Stephan as OJ Berman/Dr Goldman, with Katy Allen and Andy Watkins.
Based on Truman Capote’s beloved masterwork, Breakfast at Tiffany’s is set in New York in 1943. Fred, a young writer from Louisiana, meets Holly Golightly, a charming, vivacious and utterly elusive good-time girl.  Everyone falls in love with Holly – including Fred.  But Fred is poor, and Holly’s other suitors include a playboy millionaire and the future president of Brazil.  As war rages on in Europe, Holly begins to fall in love with Fred – just as her past catches up with her.
