Cruz Beckham didn’t let the drizzle spoil his big entrance as he arrived in rainy Glasgow this afternoon with his girlfriend Jackie Apostel ahead of his gig at King Tut’s tomorrow. 
The 21 year old touched down in the city and headed straight to a swish hotel in the city centre, stepping out of his grey van just after 5.30 pm looking fresh-faced, relaxed and clearly in high spirits.
Despite the cold, Cruz appeared unfazed by the Scottish weather as he made his way into the hotel with the rest of his band The Breakers. 
Dressed casually but stylishly in his long beige coat , black hooded top and blue tracksuit bottoms, he cut a confident figure, showing the same laidback cool that has made him one of the most talked about next generation celebrity kids.
He told the onlooking fans ‘It’s great to be in Glasgow’ as Jackie who kept her shades on asked if they were going to the gig. 
With his music career gathering pace, his arrival in Glasgow marks another milestone moment as he prepares to take to the famous King Tut’s stage made famous by Oasis.
By his side was his girlfriend Jackie, who kept close under her hooded top as the pair headed in from the rain.

The couple looked happy and comfortable together, despite the recent drama concerning his brother Beckham and his parents. 
Their arrival created a quiet buzz around the hotel entrance, with onlookers clocking the young Beckham as he swept past, looking every inch the emerging pop star.
Cruz, the youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham, kicked off his UK tour last Wednesday has been steadily stepping into the spotlight in his own right, swapping the family’s high-fashion front rows and football for intimate venues and live music crowds

SANDI THOM FRONTRUNNER FOR SCOTLAND WORLD CUP

Scots singer Sandi Thom looks like a front runner to record the official Scotland team football anthem after she played her new track at a secret gathering in the First Minister’s official residence.
The Banff-born star, 44, was invited to Bute House in Edinburgh by John Swinney for an intimate evening celebrating the charity efforts of mental health campaigner Craig Ferguson, who is walking from Los Angeles to Boston for SAMH.
As well as key figures from the Scottish Government, the guest list included senior officials and representatives from the world of Scottish football, giving Sandi the perfect chance to pitch her song as the nation’s next big terrace tune.
Sandi, who shot to fame in 2006 when her debut single I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair) knocked Gnarls Barkley’s Crazy off the top of the charts and went to number one in seven countries, performed a new track called ‘Oh I’m Proud To Be From Scotland’.
The tune is a love letter to the beautiful game north of the Border.
It traces Scottish football history from the Seventies right up to today and namechecks some of the biggest legends ever to pull on the dark blue jersey.
One guest at Bute House told the Daily Record: “Sandi played her song to the party after being invited as one of the special guests. It’s a chronology of Scottish football history, name dropping all the key players from the 1970s to present day and it's called ‘Oh I’m Proud To Be From Scotland’.
“It went down really well. Everyone in the room could picture it being sung by Scotland fans. It’s got a rousing chorus that the Tartan Army will love.”
Another insider added: “Scottish football is part of who we are. To have a song that celebrates that history and to hear people singing it back is a winning formula.” 
Sandi also played the track on her phone privately for Scottish FA chief executive Ian Maxwell in a bid to secure official approval for the song to become Scotland’s team anthem for the 2026 World Cup campaign.
If it gets the green light, it will join a proud tradition of Scottish footie anthems including 1998’s Don’t Come Home Too Soon by Del Amitri, 1986’s Big Trip To Mexico by the Scotland World Cup Squad and 1978’s Ally’s Tartan Army by Andy Cameron.
This time, competition for the coveted slot is fierce. 
Other contenders include We Are Scotland… World Cup 2026 by Martin Considine, Calum MacPhail’s as-yet-unnamed 2026 song and a new Scotland track being lined up by Scottish boyband Just The Brave.
For Sandi, the chance to represent her country on the world stage comes at a pivotal moment in her life and career.
The singer became one of the UK’s first viral music stars when she livestreamed a series of gigs from her basement flat and built a global fanbase online.
That surprise success led to major label backing and a worldwide distribution deal despite the fact she had no traditional sales history before Punk Rocker exploded.
In 2016, after the birth of her son Logan Cali with former husband Matt Benson, Sandi made the decision to step back from the spotlight to focus on motherhood and her passion for animal welfare.
She has since devoted herself to volunteer work and has helped rehome hundreds of street dogs.
Sandi describes herself as ‘somewhat of a rebel with a cause’ and has never lost her connection with her audience. Her music has now wracked up over 70 million streams on Spotify alone, and she regularly hears from fans who discovered Punk Rocker as teenagers and are now returning to her songs as adults.
With Logan now ten, Sandi says she feels ready to return to her first love performing and writing with a fresh sense of purpose.
Landing the Scotland anthem would be the perfect way to mark that comeback.
This year is already shaping up to be one of the most important of her career.
Sandi is celebrating the 20th anniversary of I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker with a packed schedule of live dates.
She is set to appear on the main stage at both Heartland and Party At The Palace festivals and will hit the road for a 25-date UK tour, revisiting the song that changed her life.

LOUIS TOMLINSON GLASGOW BIRTHDAY SURPRISE

Louis Tomlinson was said to be ‘feeling broody’ as he met his youngest fan and signed a birthday card for her first birthday during a visit to Glasgow. 

Louis who has just released his album How Did I Get Here met several hundred fans at the city’s HMV for a signing. 
And the One Direction star admitted he was loving Glasgow and his beloved fans as hundreds queued in the freezing cold to meet him. 
Louis who wore a brown Ice Cream Services jacket and jeans smiled from ear to ear as he met some of his original boyband followers as well as new fans. 
Amongst them was his youngest fan Melody Shaw who dances to his songs in her buggy. 
Her mum Kayleigh,31, who took her to the signing alongside dad Kyle said: “She loves Louis Tomlinson and actually dances to his songs. I put the albums on and she just has a boogie. Right now, her favourites are probably Jump The Gun or Sunflowers.”

Louis signed her birthday card, because it’s her first birthday in two days, so... he said ‘I love your name because it’s music related and your jumper’ because I got a personalised jumper done for her, which says Louis Tomlinson on the front and back. Even when we were leaving, he was like, I didn't even notice the jumper. 
He may have been feeling broody. He’s got Freddie but maybe he wants another baby.”
Other fans included Rachel Haggerty, 21, from Glasgow and her friends Sophia Salmoni, 14, from Barrhead and Nikki Murray, 31, from Glasgow. 
Rachel said: “I asked Louis to sign the record for my mum who couldn’t make it and the CD for me. I love his music and was shaking so badly I couldn’t put it back in the sleeve.”
Sophie added: “I got him to sign CDs but ae weren’t allowed selfies though my mum took a video of me meeting him while she was standing in the back of the queue. He asked me about my favourite songs but I told him I don’t have one.”

And Nicky said: “I’m an OG Directioner so Ive met Louis a few times before. I told him about my favourite songs including Jump the Gun which he said will be really good live. I’ve got Louis’ song tattooed Faith In The Future on my arm too so showed him that.”

KYLIE MINOGUE PARTIES AT GLASGOW HYDRO

High heels and good lighting are what Kylie Minogue once thanked for her famously pert bottom, and at the age of 56, the tiny antipodean star proved her rear was as buoyant as the rest of her performance as she took to the stage at Glasgow’s Ovo Hydro. 

Clad in an electric blue PVC bodysuit as she descended the stage in an inverted diamond cage made of lasers, Kylie’s talents were all there on the first date of her Tension UK tour. 

Once everyone’s favourite dungareed girl next door, Kylie’s skills as a performer have matured beyond the realms of Charlene on Ramsay Street. 

 Her vocals, her dance moves and sparkling costumes shone like the big disco ball she later brought on stage. 

Intro track Lights, Camera, Action made way for a medley of classics including In Your Eyes, Get Out Of My Way, and What Do I Have To Do before Spinning Around and the moment when Kylie showed off her cheeky side - pointing to and rubbing her famed derrière which even had its own workout video in 1987 . 

Deafening cheers met a genuinely thrilled Melbourne lass who oozed: “Good evening Glasgow! It’s been a little while. I’m so happy to be with you. It’s a loud one tonight. You're amazing, you know that.”

Split into seven acts, Kylie’s show took us through the decades starting with her Stock Aitken and Waterman hits The Locomotion, On A Night and Better The Devil You Know. 

Red lipsticked Kylie, whose wardrobe is already a museum piece at the V and A, switched to glitzy red via a sequined jumpsuit that later became a floaty sparking dress and robe during an on stage change, hidden by her agile dancers. 

Chattier than ever, she seemed more at ease with herself than on previous tours. 

Kylie confessed her mind was blown and remarked: “We are to the rafters. When we knew this date was in the calendar we did not expect this kind of sunshine to exist. Cmon. Let’s just talk about today. I know we’re good at escaping the real world but but I’ve just got to mention it. What a beauty! It’s started to really heat up in here.”

Proving she was human as she fluffed a line in newly added Dancing, she asked the dancer beside her to sing lyrics so she could catch up on herself. 

And she moved from the big stage at the front to a smaller one at the back, being carried through her adoring crowd for more audience interaction where she asked for a capella song suggestions including Never Too Late before singing Wild Rose to a lucky fan.

Kylie said she’d dreamt about ‘this moment’ during Covid when finishing her album in a kitchen.

As she teased her Disco album she made her way back to the big stage amidst a confetti drop and performed Magic before another costume change. 

This time she got cloaked up for Confide In Me before revealing - an Abba-esque short purple kimono paired with thigh high boots. 

Strobe lighting flickered for dance versions of Slow, Time Bomb and Edge of Saturday Night.  

Fans screamed ‘Kylie we love you’ and Kylie told one she looked cute. 

Kylie’s hits are numerous but she saved some of her best till last with another outfit change to black sequins, and boots for Can’t Get You Out Of my Head and Tension before a rousing encore with a fluorescent yellow and orange outfit and the recently contagious Padam. 

The party would have gone on after Love At First Sight if there had not been an 11pm curfew. 

Kylie, singular may have been usurped by a Kardashian of the same name on social media but there is still only one Kylie Minogue and she is a legend. 

HOWARD DONALD REMEMBERS VICTORIAS AND MARDI GRAS

TAKE That star Howard Donald says he used to bring a hire van to Scotland to perform tiny club gigs in Glasgow with his band  - but he’s looking forward to a far more stylish visit DJing at Ingliston Estate and Country Club this month. 

The singing and dancing star who is currently on a world tour with his famous Back For Good bandmates has only a week off in between arena dates, but he’s chosen to come to Bishopton for a party day with lunch and fizz on Sunday September 29. 

Howard, who will join 500 revellers at the £55 a head party between 2-8pm explained: “The first time I came to Scotland was for one of our tours we did with Take that, and it was with these two guys, these promoters, and we did something like five clubs over the course of four or five days. I think we did this place called Victorias. Does it still exist? At least we didn’t close it down. And there was another where the dance floor came up and we were dancing and singing on it -the Mardi Gras.”

“So we did like a club tour, and we went all around Glasgow, and it was such a blast. It was so cool, so good. We were in a hire van, that we used to drive everywhere around the country, so we drove the hire van from Manchester to Scotland. It was like a road trip. It was an adventure, and we didn't know what was going to come from day to day.”

Bosses at the stylish Ingliston Estate and Country Club in Renfrewshire, just twenty minutes from Glasgow, are laying on a more lavish experience for Howard’s visit this time round. 

And the star, who ends his UK shows with the lads in Leicester on September 22 before heading off to Poland in October can’t wait to spend some of his precious holiday time in and around the stylish Scots estate which also welcomes former TOWIE star Mark Wright to play a Halloween DJ set with two course meal, dancers and a glass of fizz on arrival on October 26 from 6:30pm until 1am, and JLS and Hit List star Marvin Humes to DJ at Ingliston's Day Club, the ultimate party on November 10 for £45 including a delectable lunch and fizz on arrival.

Ingliston who are also hosting a spooky family rave on October 13 have played host to Denise Van Outen, and Judge Jules in past months in their purpose built Grand Marque, the biggest Indoor Wedding Marquee in Scotland, which cost a whopping £3.5 million to create.

The idyllic 90-acre Renfrewshire estate, called in specialists to help with the awesome build which also boasts a super amped state of the art sound system, glittering chandeliers, wall to ceiling fairy lights, and bespoke flooring.

A gold-plated bridal suite and gold finished toilets for guests also adjoin the luxurious draped venue which has its own separate VIP entrance and a separate green room for any performers.

SCOTS BAND THE RONAINS GET SEAL OF APPROVAL FROM LEGENDS

SCOTS band The Ronains have had the seal of approval from a legendary singer after their new single attracted more than 1.8 million views on YouTube. 

Rockers Jim Reid and Debi Ronain and their band first recorded House of The Rising Sun in 2019 and their atmospheric video even features their guitarist and ‘brother’ Shaun Scott who sadly passed away not long after the band released the iconic video by Partickular films which can be seen on YouTube. 

After notching up millions of views across their social media platforms online, and after it was picked up for Netflix by gangster documentary Faces, the band decided to release it officially for download this week.

They’ve now received a message from original lead singer of The Animals Eric Burdon who had a hit with the song in 1964. 

And Eric who is now 82 years old didn’t hold back on how great he thought their version was, with fans now calling it the ‘best version ever’.

After hearing Debi’s vocals Eric wrote in an email: “She's absolutely magnificent, raw and the harsh and acidic qualities you're hearing might just be the result of her unique vocal style and the raw emotion she pours into the song. 

That being said, music is subjective, and what matters most is how it connects with the listener.

 I Ioved it and loved the style of how the track flowed from start to finish.

This song is nearly 60 years old and it really hits my heart strings, makes me so proud to know young bands are still singing it. Great job. Up The Ronains.”

Eric’s manager also commented: “I let Eric hear your version of the song and I have to say he absolutely loved it. There's been a variety of covers over the years but certainly none as unique as this one and the vocals of the singer are incredible.”

Jim Reid said: ”We’ve had a lot of comments from all over the world saying it’s very possibly the best version ever. We teamed up with Simple Mind’s Gordon Goudie and Rolling Stone’s producer Matt Colton on this which was amazing and we changed the song up a bit at the start and end, adding some extra lyrics. To have the seal of approval from Eric Burden takes things to a different level and we are buzzing. 

Debi added: “When I heard the news Eric had listened to the song i was speechless. It’s such an iconic song, thats been covered a million times over so the very fact he heard it and  took the time to even email us left me gobsmacked. 

He described my vocals exactly the way I wanted them to be received. When I sing that song I do so from the pit of my stomach and feel every word, those lyrics are mighty and if even one person can be moved by them, well then my job is done.”

MIDGE URE ANNOUNCES NEW TOUR AT 70

Having celebrated his 70th birthday with a sold out show at the historic Royal Albert Hall in October 2023, Midge Ure is keen to continue the celebration of his life in music by announcing a new 23 date UK tour for November and December 2024.

 

The tour will give Midge the opportunity to showcase the musical breadth and versatility of his extensive song catalogue written during the past 50 years; giving old and new fans alike a truly remarkable night of hits and rarely heard gems.  

 

Midge says “I performed live long before I was ever allowed anywhere near a recording studio and as much as I love spending time writing and recording, live music remains my first love. This ‘Catalogue’ tour will allow me to not only play a wide selection of hits from my past but perform some of the most requested favourites. Revisiting these moments from my musical life is something I am really looking forward to sharing”.

 

Midge Ure has had an unrivalled career earning him Ivor Novello, Grammy and BASCAP awards along with a flotilla of gold and platinum records during the past five decades. NATHAN EVANS IS THE DADDY OF POPSTARS

NATHAN Evans might be celebrating being at number three on the iTunes chart but he says life has become even more hectic since he became a dad. 
The Scots charttopper, whose hit sea shanty Wellerman has now been played around the world and even got him on the US Kelly Clarkson show has been wowing fans with his new song Heather On The Hill and he’s juggling performances in between family life.
Following an appearance on This Morning Nathan, whose wife Holly gave birth to Hunter in July, told theshowbizlion.com : “It’s been hectic hectic and if it wasn't hectic before it's definitely more hectic when you have a baby, but it’s been incredible.”
Following a complicated C section Hunter had to be put on a CPAP machine (which provides air pressure to stop the airways collapsing) and oxygen and was in ICU for two weeks. 
Nathan said he’s now making brilliant progress. 
He explained: “He is so good and is amazing, sleeping well, eating well and checking off all the checklist and milestones he needs to hit.”
He added: “I think he’s got a musical mind already. Every time I crack out the guitar he's instantly interested, he's trying to touch it, he’s trying to  strum the strings, and if I’m just sitting playing songs or whatever, he just sits and watches and listens.
“And he’s dead calm so I don't know if I'm just being optimistic but I think he's got a bit of musical ability in him. I might be optimistic right enough.”

Former Aidrie postman Nathan first went viral in 2021 after he posted a sixty second clip of himself in TikTok singing a sea shanty whaling song. 
Within days the clip had gone viral with Queen guitarist Brian May, composer Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber, Gary Barlow, Ronan Keating and US chat show king Jimmy Fallon all posting their own versions of his track.
Since then he’s been signed and has released an album with a second in the works, as well as performed to legions of fans across Europe. 
He said: “I've been in Germany quite a lot from playing influencer charity football matches to playing big massive influencer shows to 15,000 people. At New Year's Eve I was the one to bring in the bells for a New Year's Eve at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin which had between 65 to 80,000 people there, which is ridiculous. Luckily the lights were brilliant  and I could only see maybe five rows so that was good. It wasn't until I came back and saw it on the screen and I was like, wow that’s a lot of people. That's probably the biggest show I've ever done and it was absolutely crazy. But it's incredible.”
Nathan’s latest song Heather on The Hill with its Scottish folk undertones has gained him even more fans.
Nathan said: “It's been absolutely mental. So on Wednesday, I had some filming during the day. I first straight from there down to London when I stayed over on Wednesday night, went straight to film on This Morning and then fresh, flew straight home. 

I got home, had a shower for 20 minutes and went straight back out for two shows and now I’m doing more filming . It's been a mad couple of weeks but it's been incredible.
The new song is upbeat, it's happy, it's like it gets everybody off the feet and dancing and it has that kind of vibe.  I wrote it with the boys from Saint Phnx and we just had an idea for a Scottish traditional song. It just makes you feel good so that's kind of why it resonates so much for everybody.” 

SUSAN BOYLE NEW YEAR SURPRISE IN DUNFERMLINE

SUSAN Boyle surprised revellers celebrating the turn of the year when she turned up for an unplanned duet with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers.
The Celtic rockers were playing their regular end of year show at the Alhambra when 
Susan arrived to watch her friend and vocal coach Chris Judge perform.  
The 62 year old who recently told that she had suffered a minor stroke last April was just there to watch the show but after speaking with Chris and the band backstage, she was asked if she might like to join them. 
Chris was about to sing his last song of the first half of the show with the pipers but paused to tell the large crowd they had a star in their midst. 
Chris teased: “The singer that we wanted was not available because our favourite singer comes from Blackburn in West Lothian. 
But tonight she’s not in Blackburn West Lothian. Dunfermline please welcome to the stage our friend Susan Boyle.”
Susan then duetted on the Leonard Cohen song Hallelujah as the audience went wild. 
And after hitting the high notes with Chris she told the crowd to have a happy new year. 
Chris said of the magical moment: “Susan and I had never properly duetted on stage before and it was such a buzz, the smiles say it all. 
She surprised the audience and earned a worthy standing ovation and it was a moment I will cherish forever.”

The rest of the band added on their social media: “What an honour!!! Last night wasn’t only an incredible night with it being the last show of another amazing year for the band, it was also capped off by an extra special moment when the world famous and Scottish national treasure, Susan Boyle joined us on stage to sing a song with her good friend and our singer, Chris Judge. 
“Susan had came along to the gig, and we couldn’t believe that she was willing to give us the honour and privilege of allowing us to share the stage with her. It’s safe to say that the crowd gave her the reception she deserves, and what a memory it was for every single person in the auditorium last night.”
Happy New Year to all of you out there, much love from all of us wherever you are in the word.”
Susan’s impromptu appearance came after she was filmed stealing the show as she appeared on-stage for a singalong with Donny Osmond in Glasgow at the start of December.
The world talent who shot to fame with her rendition of the Les Mis smash hit I Dreamed A Dream on Britain's Got Talent in 2009, appeared alongside the American singer to preform 'This is the moment.' 

NICOLE SCHERZINGER ENGAGED TO SCOTS EX RUGBY STAR

NICOLE Scherzinger has become engaged to Scots ex rugby international Thom Evans after he got down on one knee to get on the beach during a romantic break in Hawaii. 
Nicole posted a picture of Thom proposing to her on Instagram on Instagram as he produced a ring box while they both were barefoot on the beach. 
In the first picture a surprised Nicole can be seen clasping her hands together to cover her delighted face as Thom is on bended knee. 
In the second picture the two lovebirds can be seen embracing one another as they gaze into one another’s eyes. 
Nicole who wore a sundress and hat for the big moment told her fans: “I said yes.”
Thom who was dressed in shorts and. T-shirt for the proposal also took to his social media to say: “My ever after.”
The couple soon received well wishes from their followers including fellow Scot Kirsty Gallagher, and Julien MacDonald who said: “I knew this would happen.”

SIR ROD STEWART’S LA HOME IS AS FLAMBOYANT AS HIM

ROD Stewart’s LA mansion is a sight to see and it spares no expense as it goes on the market for $70 million. 

For over 50 years, the London-born-and-raised Sir Rod Stewart's distinctive raspy voice and charismatic stage presence have made him a beloved and very successful artist.

 Rod, whose dad was Scottish, has all-time classic songs including Mandolin Wind, Tonight’s the Night, Forever Young, and Maggie May which have provided a soundtrack to generations from baby boomers to Generation Z. 

As popular in the United States as he is in Britain, Rod is still rockin audiences everywhere, especially in his ongoing Las Vegas show that began in 2011 and starts up again in November.  

 One of music’s biggest stars, Rod’s home is also big with 13 bedrooms and 28,500 square feet on over three acres of prime Los Angeles North Beverly Park turf.

 A bit flamboyant, just like the owner, the home has a striking yellow exterior,  a large Las Vegas-style fountain and ornate double doors that welcome visitors to the home’s grand foyer.

 The first floor has two sitting rooms with intricate moldings, traditionally decorated and filled with Old World treasures.

SHIRLEY MANSON LEFT UNABLE TO WALK AFTER GARBAGE HIP

SHIRLEY Manson was left unable to walk after her hip gave out following an on tour injury - and now she says she is grateful to be alive following a life changing hip replacement last month. 
The 56 year old Garbage singer and actress  from Edinburgh had been struggling with her movement on and off over the last seven years after she fell off the rotating stage at a gig in LA whilst singing her band’s song Special. 
And after touring with Alanis Morrisette two years ago the Stupid Girl singer realised things were becoming worrying.
Reliving the moment she fell at KROQ Weenie Fest in the US Shirley told Curious Creatures podcast: “I knew what was happening as it was happening.
”I went into slow motion and I was like, I'm gonna f***ing fall off the front of this f***ing stage. 
“I f***ing can't believe it. Oh my god. Here I go yep, tumbling forward and then all of a sudden I've landed on my feet. Thank God. Unbeknownst to me at the time I really jacked my right hip on the barrier. I landed on the barrier. And then for six years, I've had some problems. 
“And then the last I was on tour with Atlantis Morissette two years ago and I couldn't walk on days off. I said: ‘What the hell's going on?’”
Following a medical consultation Shirley's doctor told her she needed a hip replacement which she had in March - and she claims it has been a humbling experience.  
She explained: “My doctor was like, ‘Yeah, you need a hip replacement’. So I had that a month ago and it was so humbling.
Like I've never had any physical problems my whole life, like nothing. I've never broken a leg or a finger or anything. And then all of a sudden, I find myself using a bedpan p***ing in a bedpan, you know, and having some nurse come and clean me up, I was like, This cannot be happening to me. This cannot be happening. It was happening to me.”
Shirley recalled having to use a zimmer to walk around LA and says it was a great ego check. 
She added: “And then I couldn't walk for two whole weeks. 
“And then I was with a walker, like shuffling around Beverly Hills, outside my doctor's office because I do not live in Beverly Hills, I hasten to add, and it was just such a great ego check of like, yeah, you are just you and you are going to die and you better enjoy your life that you've got left.”
Shirley who is working on Garbage’s eighth studio album is currently touring North America with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.  
And, as she joked that she was looking forward to bleeping at every security check, she said: “Now, you know, just really seize the day. It was really both a cool experience and an awful one. But here I am, with my amazing bionic hip, which looks so beautiful on the X ray, and I'm grateful to be alive. So there you go. It's a triumphant story in the end.“

JUDGE JULES WILL PLAY ONE OF HIS SMALLEST GIGS IN INGLISTON RENFREWSHIRE

GLOBAL DJ and producer legend Judge Jules can’t wait to play one of his smallest gigs yet on May 6 at the newly revamped Ingliston Estate and Country Club in Bishopton, Renfrewshire.

And although he says he can’t ride horses, he’s looking forward to meeting some of his stablemates on the day and taking over the former equestrian training ring which has been transformed into a luxury grand marquee. 

Playing for just 500 people in the private venue, Judge Jules: Live  with see the former Radio One Dj, named the worlds number one DJ in the nineties, perform iconic anthems with a ten-piece live band.

From 8pm -1am guests will be able to enjoy a ninety minute show with brass, percussion, drums, bass guitar, lead guitar, keyboard, singers, and Judge Jules, just twenty minutes from Glasgow.

Jules said: “Scottish crowds know their music and I can’t wait to play such an intimate venue at Ingliston. It’s taken eighteen months to put together, and I’ve created my own bespoke versions of my all-time favourite records with a specially selected band and lots of special visuals too.”

“I first played Scotland at the now demolished Glasgow Plaza before playing the Sub Club and legendary Arches. I’ve always loved it here and love to see the whites of peoples eyes when I’m playing. You just get in the zone.”

ROD STEWART’S DAUGHTER RUBY BREAKS BATHTUB

ROD Stewart’s daughter Ruby couldn’t believe it after she broke her bath during her third trimester and said it could be her lowest pregnancy moment.
The former fashion model had planned a relaxing moment in her bath but suffered a mishap when she stop up. 
The 35 year old who is expecting her first baby with partner Jake Kalic in April was a tad embarrassed as she revealed to her followers on Instagram: “ Let the record state that I am in the healthy weight for a woman in her third trimester. however, I did stand up in the bath today and blew the legs off of it. Might be my lowest pregnancy moment.”
Ruby also posted a picture of the said bath with its legs now on the floor and tilted after the accident. 

Water still remained inside it as bottles of toiletries were strewn everywhere and a shelf lay at an angle.

To balance things out Ruby also posted a video of heself looking relaxed while watching comedy at a concert venue. 
She chose of watch the action on a TV screen despite being at the gig. 
She added: “Reflecting on a high pregnancy moment last night: When I had a whole buffet couch to myself while watching live stand up comedy on my private TV. 
“While all the cool kids drank tequila and didn't eat anything.
(I also ordered a root beer and the waitress asked me who brought their child to the show)”

TRAVIS’ FRAN HEALY RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AFTER BLOODY INJURY

TRAVIS singer Fran Healy was rushed to hospital after he sliced through his hand and had to use a panty pad to soak up the blood. 
The Why Does It Always Rain on Me charttopper hit the headlines in 2021 after a sausage dog mauled him and left a gnarly wound on his hand whilst he was in the Hollywood Hills. 
It left him in agony and stopped him from using his left hand for several months and he had to undergo surgery in December that year to repair his wounded hand. 
This time round Fran was left bloodied and in severe pain as managed to slice though his right hand as he carried a metal cornering strip from the DIY store into his car. 
Showing off his bloodied hand as he awaited treatment at the hospital in the US, Fran said: “Deary me!”
He explained: “I’m adding an extra wall in my studio and picked up some cornering (very thin 10 foot long metal strip) and was putting it in the car and it slid very gently down the crack between thumb and forefinger like a sushi knife. Right hand this time. Will take couple of weeks to heal.”

Revealing the state of his hand following treatment he added: “Seven stitches.”
Fran then revealed he had bend helped out by a Good Samaritan who came to his rescue.
He said: “There was a whole lotta blood. A wee Mexican man in the Home Depot carpark saw it happen and ran to his car returning with a panty pad... I was very grateful.”
After someone questioned ‘a panty pad?’ Fran replied: “Yes. Ultra absorbent.”
He also revealed that he was screaming during his treatment. 
He said: “The doctor told me, as he was preparing to inject the affected area with lidocaine, that this particular area of the body (possibly the universe) has the highest concentration of nerve endings. I videoed the injections. Lots of screaming from me.”
“I get my stitches out next Friday.”

Fran received well wishes from fellow pop star Carol Decker, who said: “What you do????  BTW why does it always rain  playing in Tesco today got me dancing in the booze isle.”
Fran reassured her: “Hey carol... hands on art student drywall accident. its all better now. big hugs to you xxx”
After actor Dan Ryan said: “Dude! Ow. Not the strummer!!!!?!?!. Fran added: “You can strum with a stump it's fine...”
Someone else wrote: ”Hope you Healy soon.”

LEWIS CAPALDI GETS HIS FOURTH NUMBER ONE SINGLE
