ROD STEWART’S DAUGHTER RUBY BREAKS BATHTUB

ROD Stewart’s daughter Ruby couldn’t believe it after she broke her bath during her third trimester and said it could be her lowest pregnancy moment.
The former fashion model had planned a relaxing moment in her bath but suffered a mishap when she stop up.
The 35 year old who is expecting her first baby with partner Jake Kalic in April was a tad embarrassed as she revealed to her followers on Instagram: “ Let the record state that I am in the healthy weight for a woman in her third trimester. however, I did stand up in the bath today and blew the legs off of it. Might be my lowest pregnancy moment.”
Ruby also posted a picture of the said bath with its legs now on the floor and tilted after the accident.

Water still remained inside it as bottles of toiletries were strewn everywhere and a shelf lay at an angle.
To balance things out Ruby also posted a video of heself looking relaxed while watching comedy at a concert venue.
She chose of watch the action on a TV screen despite being at the gig.
She added: “Reflecting on a high pregnancy moment last night: When I had a whole buffet couch to myself while watching live stand up comedy on my private TV.
“While all the cool kids drank tequila and didn't eat anything.
(I also ordered a root beer and the waitress asked me who brought their child to the show)”

PENNY LANCASTER BROUGHT HOME BACON TO ROD STEWART

PENNY Lancaster literally brought home the bacon to Rod Stewart after borrowing two miniature pigs from a friend.
The model and Loose Woman panellist has recently been showing off her wild garden in the Essex home she shares with Rod and their two children.
Penny, 49,  who has just returned from a holiday in Croatia with Rod was keen to see if micro pigs as they are known would fit in with the rest of their menagerie including their Labradoodle Blondie who she and Rod adopted from Battersea Dogs home, other Labradoodle Lily and two free range hens she was given by a friend in February ahead of lockdown.
So Penny asked one of her friends if she could try them out to see how easily they would adapt to their lifestyle at the £4.65 million home.
As she was pictured feeding one alongside her youngest son Aidan she told fans: “We have borrowed two miniature pigs for a trial date.”

After giving the ‘thirsty boys’ some drinking water and letting them forage in the garden, she decided it was time to let them inside the house.
She invited one of the pigs to try out her living room where it appeared to enjoy a pile of Homes and Gardens magazines alongside a caption saying: “It’s a pigs life.”
Micro Pigs are incredibly intelligent and are considered the fourth most intelligent animal in the world. They are quick and willing to learn and are said to be less expensive to keep than cars or dogs. They are also considered to be hypoallergenic meaning they are less likely to cause animal related allergies.
Rocker Rod, 75, whose songs include First Cut Is The Deepest, and once sang about having it off with the farmer’s daughter in the track Almost Illegal, was nowhere to be seen during the trial but he is partial to a bacon sandwich so who knows if they will stay Forever Young.
One things for sure, if they do decide to stay they will have to become Celtic fans like the rest of his pets.

RIVER CITY'S JOHNNY BEATTIE AND HIS BIRTHDAY WISH

RIVER City star Johnny Beattie is hoping for the best birthday present ever for his ninetieth - for Donald Trump to fail in the US election.
Johnny, who was given a special luncheon by the Showbiz Benevolent Fund to celebrate his ninetieth and many years in Showbiz said: "I'm nearly ninety. I'm nearly as old as my gags and that's saying something. I turn ninety on November 9. It's the day after the big election between the two funny people over in America. He would have done well over here in our variety business - Donald Trump. By god what a turn he'd have been - Donald Chump. Is that going in cause he'll sue me. He's sued everybody else so he might as well sue me. Nice to sue you to sue you nice.
He added: "The best present for my ninetieth would be for Donald Trump to not be president of the United States because let's face it, we're all doomed if he is."

Johnny, who left River City last year, has been enjoying time away from our screens .
He said: "The reason I had to stop was I had had vertigo and it was a balance thing but quite honestly I'd have carried on - even now. I really miss it but I keep in touch with all the cast like Eileen McCallum and Una Maclean. I loved River City and was thirteen years in there.

He reminisced about Jack Milroy, Anne Fields who just passed away, Jimmy Logan and Peter Duranz.
He says he used to do a sketch that is like a Strictly take off - 'We did Wilson Keppel and Beattie.'..
He says his ears are not so good but in fine fettle apart from that. I've still got a jig or two in me - it's just my hearing."
He told stories and so did Maureen Beattie, Alasdair Gillies, Dean Park and Alastair Mcdonald -
