KAYE ADAMS REVEALS ALL ABOUT FORTHCOMING LOOSE WOMEN TOUR IN GLASGOW

Loose Women is hitting the road for the very first time this autumn with Loose Women Live and Kaye Adams reckons it could be the ultimate girls night out.
Theshowbizlion.com can’t wait to be there as the gals swap the studio for the stage to bring laughter, never-before-heard stories and backstage secrets.

It’s been twenty four years since the show began and the women will be truly let loose for the tour.

Kicking off at Birmingham Symphony Hall on Friday September 01, the tour will visit 16 spectacular venues throughout the month and include a night at the world-famous London Palladium.

Joining Loose Women Live will be Brenda Edwards, Charlene White, Christine Lampard, Dame Kelly Holmes, Denise Welch, Frankie Bridge, Gloria Hunniford, Jane Moore, Janet Street-Porter, Judi Love, Katie Piper, Kaye Adams, Kelle Bryan, Linda Robson, Nadia Sawalha and Sunetra Sarker.
Tickets are on sale now via livenation.co.uk

Panellists Kaye Adams  reckons things will be a bit different from the weekday show?

She told us: “I'm really, really looking forward to it actually. Obviously, we love the show. It feels like your favourite pair of slippers, in the best possible way, but we're going to have to get our tap shoes on for the tour! Just to take it into a different arena is going to be interesting but also just to feel that buzz in a large theatre of all those people.
We're going to mix things up a lot more, which I think we're all looking forward to. I think we can be a little freer when we're in a live theatre situation. I think people can expect it to be a ‘very loose’ Loose Women. We want it to be fun and for people to have a great time!”

A live audience will also offer a different dimension to Kaye and the panel.

She explained: “I think it's just going to be amazing on the tour because we obviously have an audience when we’re recording Loose Women and it’s a huge part of the show. It really does give the show a lot of energy. It gives you a lot of information because you can see what resonates with people and what doesn't resonate with them, and the different kinds of reactions to different topics. So to be able to do that on a large scale and just give people a really good night is great. We want the audience to feel part of the experience, rather than watching an experience. That’s 100 per cent what we’re going to be focused on.”

Kaye also reckons there could be extra carnage on tour. She said: “How many times are you going to go on tour with a bunch of your mates?  Even for me, who's usually known as the sort of sober one, I think to be in bed at 11 o'clock would be a bit of a tragedy! So hopefully, this will be the ultimate girls’ night out!

“With Judi, Jane and Nadia, [who I’m opening the tour alongside] we know each other very well. We've been away together, for weekends and things. We went to the Cotswolds last year for four nights, which was a riot, I can tell you. So I think you can expect us to be even less discreet than we would normally be!”

Kaye admits she is a tad nervous about going on stage.
She said: “I expect to be absolutely bricking it. You know, I've got a podcast called ‘How To Be 60’ and we're doing three live shows at the Edinburgh Festival in August. We did a couple last year and I am a bag of nerves because you want people to have a good time and you want to be able to enable that. But also you do need nervous energy because I'm quite a laid back kind of person. I have to almost purposely wind myself up just to give myself that level of energy or it would be dull!”

She said she’ll also be ensuring she brings her dressing gown on tour.
She said: “I got it when I did Strictly and it’s fabulous and fluffy with my name in gold on the back, so I’ll bring that.

“One of the dates I’m doing will be in Glasgow, where I live, so I’ll sleep in my own bed that night but I will be sleeping in a different bed for the others, which will make me feel 25 again! I have heard that you can get a bus that you can sleep in overnight and, oh my god, that is where I want to be because I want the full Spinal Tap experience. I want to be on the top bunk! I don't think Judi will want the top bunk? Denise might… She is an absolute riot!”

For Glasgow Kaye plans of os something extra special.

She said: “Yes, I’m sure I’ll do something special with the other panellists. Glasgow has been my home for such a long time. I feel so comfortable here. Often it's just the way you speak, the references that you make, and stuff like that. The panel that night are welcome to stay in my house and I will give them very competitive rates for that!

“Do my children really want to come and see their mum cavorting on the stage? I'm not entirely sure…  And Ian would definitely rather be playing tennis. I know I don't watch him play [tennis] so I don't really expect him to come and watch me! “

And she said she’ll miss  Bea, her Cockapoo when she is not at home.
She said: “Bonnie will look after her and Ian takes Bea to the tennis club and she runs about and chases tennis balls all day so she’s quite happy.

Ian and I are both away for work a lot though and it wouldn't work for everybody but I think it works for us. You know, we've been together for 30 years plus… We're never entirely sure because it's so long and can't remember… But it's definitely 30 years plus! We've just always been like that, we've always had our own thing going on and before I had the kids and I was doing Loose Women I was in Manchester from Monday to Friday for a long time and he works a lot in Italy doing tennis stuff so it's just the way that we are. Whether it strengthens us or not I don’t know but I do know that it certainly doesn't damage it [the relationship] because it's just our rhythm!”

EXAMPLE KICKSTARTS 2022 WITH TOUR

We love hearing from our friend Example and we can’t wait to have a wild time with him in January 2022 when he Kickstarts his new tour.

The ever exciting singer and platinum selling chart-topper who we meet up with regularly when he’s in Scotland has today announced a highly anticipated UK wide tour after a hiatus, hitting major UK cities including Leeds, London and Manchester as well as Bristol and Glasgow in January 2022.

On the brink of releasing his 8th studio album, the homegrown legend in the scene and triple-threat singer, rapper and producer Example is back to re-live both his old and new hits with fans on a 14 date tour in February, available here! www.trythisforexample.com

A UK festival favourite, Example’s career is soaked in accolades, in 2011 his 3rd studio album “Playing in the Shadows” peaked at #1 in the UK charts and two of the singles off that album ‘Stay Awake’ & ‘Changed the Way You Kissed Me’ also went to #1. Armed with his brand new single ‘Every Single Time’ ft What So Not and Lucy Lucy and having just hosted his own stage at Creamfields, his trademark vocal over blissful production is to be embodied live next year, hitting UK stages again. His earlier discography reminiscent of the nostalgia from the EDM uprising in the 2010’s, the tour represents Example’s evolution through his sonic journey bridging the gap between pop, rap and electro, as he now revisits major UK cities post pandemic. Example’s inescapable anthems have seen him collaborate with fellow global stars Calvin Harris, Professor Green, Wretch 32, Giggs, Pet Shop Boys, Skream and many more.

The forthcoming tour is available for general sale on 10th September @ 9.00am BST via Gigs and Tours here: www.trythisforexample.com

SIMPLE MINDS JIM KERR PAYS TRIBUTE TO LATE FATHER JIMMY

JIM Kerr has paid a touching tribute to his late dad Jimmy who passed away just before he and Simple Minds embark on a 40th anniversary world tour and live album.
Sunday soundtrack radio host Ricky Ross admitted he didn’t expect Jim Kerr to come into his Sunday morning BBC show following the tragic news.
Rocky told Jim: “You’ve come in and I didn’t expect you to come in today. You’ve been looking after your dad the last two months and sadly he’s gone.”
Jim replied: “Don’t make me cry Ricky. People will be turning off. Let’s cut to the chase - my dad was a big fan of your show, a big fan of radio and a great great reader as well. You ticked a lot of boxes for him because you are a country show. That was his music. My dad would tell me you’ve got to check this and that. Only two weeks ago dad told me about the show you’d done then and Willie Haughey was on it.
“There’s no way dad would have accepted me not coming in here and it’s a pleasure to see you here. ”
Jim then said of his dad: “Dad was eighty three and I’m so lucky. He was just the greatest dad and I feel very fortunate to be born, that was my dad and he was also my best pal and a great great influence.
He was a brickies labourer all his life. He was a strong guy. Perhaps uncommon or maybe not when you think of a lot of the shipyard guards, he was very keen on educating himself.
”Although he could mix it with the rest of the labourers and go to the pub and football he had his head in a book from Monday to Friday. The only person Who can read as much is my other best pal Charlie Burchill.
Jom said his dad taught him how to dream: “My dad, there was a great curiosity in him to know about world beyond the end of his street. Unfortunately his generation you couldn’t just decided you were going to Nepal and they had to knuckle down and thanks to them we were allowed to dream bigger.  My dad would point me out a window and say ‘over there is Africa’.
I think that is the most quality - to dream big or to imagine big. The idea of being a dreamer or have your heads in clouds was once a derogatory thing. But I realised it’s the most potent thing ever. It all begins with imagination. Sitting here all these  years later  I’m bewildered that the things we had came to pass.”
Jim also told of the moment his dad realised he would do well as a musician.
He laughed: “My dad also gave up drinking a long time ago but when we were starting the band he was in a period where he had to go to the meetings and he was trying to sort himself out. It was more a subtle thing. He wasn’t happy and we were up and down in vans and going here there and everywhere. I didn’t have much dialogue with him for around a two year period. Dad didn’t grasp it but finally we got to play in Glasgow in Tiffany’s and it was a big deal to sell it out. Mum and dad were coming but dad went to the pub first and mum got fed up waiting and went to the gig herself. Dad wasn’t drunk but he didn’t go home and still had his working gear on and mum would have been humiliated. We did the gig. What a night.
“ I saw him the next day - Saturday morningHe made breakfast the next morning and he was a wee bit sheepish and he said ‘you are going to make it. You are going to be a big big band’. He said ’I was watching this one guy last night and he was in the queue and dancing and he got his chips and you started this song The American and he threw them up in the air and ran down. Anybody that can get people to do that. That’s a talent.’
That was his version of the old grey whistle test.”

PAOLO GOES FOR A ROLL AROUND IN RIO

PAOLO Nutini ended up leaving a bloody souvenir of himself abroad after getting into a play fight with a fan in Rio.
The brilliant Scots singer is currently on tour and was enjoying some time out in Rio de Janiero after a gig in Brazil when he bumped into London club DJ Skunkrock.
Skunkrock who plays at Plex in Fabric club and travels regularly for his work was smoking a cigarette when Paolo approached him.

He said:"Paolo just came up to me and was smoking beside me. We got chatting and were just having some friendly banter. He's such a sound guy. I'm never phased by anyone so I made a joke about him being a classic Radio 2 ladies man and the next thing we were having a play fight wrestling one another on the ground. It was really funny and we were both unscathed at the end of it - or so I thought. I've now got a wee bit of Paolo's blood on my t-shirt. I'm not sure where it came from but he certainty wasn't hurt and neither was I. We both had a laugh."
Skunkrock later told his pals online:"I might stick it on EBay."
Paolo's gigs in Latin America went down a storm with locals and visitors to the country. He has happily posed with a number of fans online in between his gigs and during one of them got in amongst the audience during some songs for selfies.
One fan said: "He told the audience 'I'm lucky to be in Brazil.'"

GARY BARLOW PROVES TO BE A BALLER WITH SCOTS BINGO SESSION

THEY might have been staying on the Bonnie Banks but Gary Barlow and the cast and crew of the Take That tour got lucky with a game of bingo in Scotland.
And it was a full house as Gary shunned an evening walk round the waters of Loch Lomond to take on the role of host with the most at the fun party for the band and their roadies.

And he even donned a pair of specs so he could see exactly what numbers he was calling out during the Barlow's Bingo competition.
The Take That singer and songwriter used to be a bingo caller and even brought out the balls and cards during a wedding anniversary to his wife.
Posing by his very own ball machine in one of the lounges at the plush hotel

Gary told fans: "Its a bit of a Take That tradition that one night during the tour all the cast and band get together for a game of bingo. So last night was bingo night. And guess who the MC was. All the contestants made it a special night."

Gary has talked previously about his love of the fame saying: "I used to be a bingo caller when I was first starting out. I used to love reading out the numbers. We have bingo nights backstage on the Take That tour to help everyone relax. We call it Barlow's Bingo."
During the band's stay they also got to mingle with the drivers of luxury racing cars at the luxury Cameron House hotel.

Excerpts of this article have since appeared in The Sunday Post, Sun and Sunday Mail.

STITCHES singer Shawn Mendes got hundreds of screaming youngsters to line up outside his hotel as he held an impromptu selfie session in Glasgow.
Heartthrob Shawn, who performs at the SSE Hydro on Thursday for the start of his 2017 world tour had spent the day inside the venue rehearsing with his team.

Shortly after eight pm he emerged from the back door of the venue and made his way to his hotel in his silver people carrier only to be met by a mob of fans.
Instead of shying away from them, they were asked to form an orderly queue while Shawn posed for selfies with each one of them.

Shawn, who has been here for a few days and even managed to check out some of the cities bars while he's been here said: "It's great to meet everyone in Glasgow. I love you guys."

WET WET WET WILL BE KINGS OF EDINBURGH CASTLE THIS SUMMER

WET Wet Wet will celebrate thirty years of their classic debut album Popped In Souled Out by taking over the stage at Edinburgh Castle.
Marti Oellow and the lads will play the famed Edinburgh landmark on Saturday July 15.
With huge hits including three UK No.1’s – ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’; ‘Goodnight Girl’; and ‘Love Is All Around’, the Glasgow lads have made an incredible impact with their music over the years, making them one of the most successful bands in British pop history.
Marti Pellow said: “It was a major career highlight when we took to the stage at Edinburgh Castle some 25 years ago. We are honoured to be asked back and it is sure to be a special moment when we take to the stage again.”
Graeme Clark added: “We’re coming back to the Capital to celebrate the anniversary of our Popped In Souled Out album and to do it on this scale at Edinburgh Castle some 30 years after its release is incredible.”
Tommy Cunningham can't wait to return and enthused: “It’s going to be some night! Playing live is what we love doing most and you never know, there might even be the odd wee splash of tartan just like there was last time!”
And Neil Mitchell said: “To get to play those classic pop songs in such an iconic venue will make it an amazing day for us and the fans.”
Having sold in excess of 15 million singles and albums to date, featured in the UK official singles and album charts for over an immense 500 weeks, the band have played to more than four million people in dozens of countries around the world.
Mark Mackie, director of Castle Concerts said: “It is with great delight we are able to announce today that pop sensations Wet Wet Wet will be the fourth act to play Edinburgh Castle this July. Its only taken us 25 years to get the band to come back and play this truly unique venue.Over the years, Edinburgh Castle has played host to many international stars such as Rod Stewart, Blondie, Elton John, The Proclaimers, Leonard Cohen, Stereophonics, Sir Tom Jones and Pink. Wet Wet Wet join Emeli Sande, Olly Murs and Deacon Blue at this world-renowned venue this year.”
The lads set a record by playing ten sold out shows at Glasgow’s SECC in 1995, when they were officially the most popular live act in the UK - even out-selling the Rolling Stones who were also on tour that year. Their most ‘2016 Big Picture Tour’ was an extensive 17-date arena tour that culminated in a sold out show at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow. The tour reached as far south as Plymouth and as far north as Inverness whilst covering all of England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland, giving fans all over the country the chance to see the band live. For the anniversary ‘Popped In Souled Out’ is being re-released as a 5 disk super deluxe edition that includes unreleased and rare material along with many extras. The band will be performing tracks from their classic debut at Edinburgh Castle as well as their greatest hits from over the past three decades.

BIFFY BANNED FROM FOOTIE AS THEY PREPARE FOR SCOTS GIG

BIFFY Clyro might be avid football fans but frontman Simon Neil claims they aren't allowed to play the beautiful game any more.
The lads take to the stage for Glasgow Summer Sessions this Saturday and Simon revealed: "We don't play a lot of sports. We're denied playing sports in case we hurt our hands or our fingers. We love playing football but can't really do that in case we stave our fingers and then there's no show so don't ever join a rock band. It's really boring."
The band who can't wait to play Bellahouston Park also say they give so much on stage they've almost collapsed and suffer from great lows when they finish.
Ben said: "Normally we feel great coming off stage then you feel terrible for about half an hour cause all that adrenalin leaves your system and there's no longer people screaming mad being happy in front of you and you think what am I doing with my life? It's sad but it's true and slowly you get over that and we all sit together and have a good time."
Simon added: "Its like PGSD - post gig stress disorder. We're very much in the moment and there are times when you feel you could just collapse on stage it's so emotive and intimate and the music matters so much to us. It really courses through the whole body. The last few gigs I've been in a heap in the back and the boys have had to carry me because I've just been so out of breath and so spent."
Glasgow Summer Sessions also play host to Noel Gallagher this Friday and they want you to feel as safe as a High Flying Bird when you attend the event. To make sure everything goes to plan they've enlisted the help of Sound Boab - a new event information mascot.
Sound Boab wants to ensure that both he and everyone else who will be there is aware of all key information, stays safe and is respectful of the neighbours. Essentially, he’ll be encouraging everyone to be sound. Like him.
Ahead of this week's gigs Glasgow Summer Sessions, Sound Boab will be on hand to offer his fellow gig-goers information and advice on things like travel, being prepared and looking after yourself and others at the gigs.
Here's the first of his tips on this poster.

Tickets are available via www.glasgowsummersessions.com or by calling 08444 999 990 Travel and event information is available at www.glasgowsummersessions.com and by

SUSAN BOYLE FINISHES NEW ALBUM AND TALKS FESTIVALS

SUSAN Boyle claims she can relax with some visits to Scotland's festivals after finishing off her brand new album.
The singer was chilling with friends at McEwans Party At The Palace in Linlithgow when she bumped into The Showbiz Lion.
She said: "I've just completed an album which is due out in November and it's a bit of a surprise. I'm having a whale of a time here. I'm hoping to see the Proclaimers later on. I met them a few years ago and they are nice lads."
She added: "I'm also planning to go to the Fringe to catch a couple more shows there."
Susan normally releases an album to tie in with US Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays and after taking a break last year from the scene fans can't wait to see what she has up her sleeve.

X FILES STAR DAVID DUCHOVNY GOES WALKABOUT IN GLASGOW

Exclusive
Beverley Lyons
DAVID Duchovny got juiced up before his gig at Glasgow's O2 ABC tonight - with a trip to a local health food restaurant.
The X Files and Twin Peaks star only has a couple of dates in the UK and was keen to enjoy some of the delights of the city ahead of his concert.
And proving he's nothing like his alcoholic Californication character Hank Moody, he headed to the KCal Kitchen in West Regent Street for an energising green smoothie as he strolled around town.
David, whose mum is from Whitehills near Aberdeen says he loves coming back to Scotland.
He said: "Whenever I'm in Glasgow I'll jump at the chance to wear a kilt whenever I can. My mother is Scottish and I've not been here for twelve or thirteen years."
David who is a fan of the Average White Bend also revealed he's still figuring out his sound as a singer.
He added: "I started playing my guitar five or six years ago to amuse myself. I'm figuring out my sound as a singer. I have a good friend who is a virtuoso guitarist who says maybe one day he'll get back to playing like he was sixteen. I want to get back to that initial passion and curiosity you have as a beginner. As an actor I've done some sure things that turn out to be terrible failures and some terrible things turned into huge successes."

BGT'S BAILEY MCCONNELL SINGLE AND READY...

BRITAIN'S Got Talent's Bailey McConnell reckons splitting from his girlfriend has given him the motivation to write even better music.
The 17 year old talent has been writing new material for his album and was in Glasgow this week touring with The Brooks twins at the Classic Grand.
He said: " I've been writing in the studio and trying to play my song and make it sound amazing and get on stage in Glasgow and show my tracks."
He added: "I've been through a few things that have spurned me onto writing songs. I was at school and stuff and just split up with my girlfriend and that. I guess I'm single now. It was quite a while to be fair."
Of the new tracks, he said: "My music is deeper and darker and if I have to describe a genre I'd say it's like Zane, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran mixed up."
"You just need the motivation to do what you love especially when you can turn a tough experience into something crazy like a song or dance. I aspire to have that quality and like seeing it in others."

G-EAZY LOOKS LIKE CROONER, RAPS LIKE A LEGEND, IS DUE IN SCOTLAND

FRESH from Coachella the slick and smooth rapper G-EAZY is bringing his cool vibes to Scotland next month.
The artist who looks like he should be more of a crooner than a hip hopping talent has announced UK headline dates in support of his album, When It’s Dark Out, released on December 4 last year.
G-Eazy who had a Christmas hit with House Of Fraser Christmas TV advert, You Don’t Own Me by Grace, is already mixing with rap royalty.
You can expect plenty of personal storytelling and immersive, hard-hitting and sweeping productions on tour if the album which includes stars like Big Sean and Chris Brown is anything to go by.
G-Eazy will also perform tracks from These Things Happen, which was released last year to critical acclaim. The freshman album peaked at the number 3 position on both the Billboard 200 and Top Digital Album Charts, and bowed at number 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Chart and Top Rap Albums Chart.
Between the album and singles, G-Eazy’s past work has also amassed well over 50 million streams on Spotify.
As a live performer, G-Eazy has been called by USA Today one of the best and biggest hip-hop touring acts on the college circuit.

5SOS SEND LOVE TO SCOTS HEART PATIENT

5 Seconds of Summer made a Scots heart patient's dream come true after sending her a private video message urging her to get better.
The Aussie rockers and She Looks So Perfect hit makers played two sell out gig at Glasgow's SSE Hydro when they were told of Scots school girl Rachel Moffat's struggle.
Rachel, 14 from Motherwell is currently bed bound in The Royal Hospital for Sick Children after undergoing a second heart transplant.
She has just come out intensive care but is on dialysis.
Mum Mary said: "Rachel had a heart transplant when she was seven but took unwell again last year . She was admitted to Glasgow Sick Kids in November and had another heart transplant on December 18. It was a Christmas miracle but because she was so ill she didn't really wake up until the end of January.
I got her a 5SOS book and hoodie for Christmas and tickets for the gig but she couldn't go.
She had spent over twenty one weeks in hospital now and she's got problems with her kidneys and critical illness neuropathy so her muscles in her body are affected and she can't really move."
"She has moved to dialysis and it seems to be going well although she has lost a lot of weight and needs nutrition."
Her birthday is in June 18 and we aim to get her sitting up to go home."
Rachel who is a huge 5SOS fan had been hoping to watch the boys perform in Glasgow after seeing them twice before in Scotland but was too unwell to attend the concert.
So instead of her going to the gig, the lads came to her via special video message after Dreammaker charity worker Les Hoey MBE and his team got in touch with them.
Mary added: "We are progressing but not fast enough for her to go to 5 Seconds of Summer. It was incredible when Les told me they were going to send a video message."
The lads including Calum whose dad is from Edinburgh told her: "Hey Rachel. It's 5 Seconds of Summer. We're thinking about you and sending all our positive vibes and all our love. We hope to see you at a show soon."
Rachel who watched the video from the renal ward said: "This has made my year. I'm so thrilled. It's wonderful. Nobody at my school Coltness High will believe it."
Mary added: "She has the biggest smile ever now and is over the moon."
Without families donating and organ donation she'd not be here and we want to thank everyone for giving her inspiration and positivity."

5 SECONDS OF SUMMER ROCK GLASGOW

Beverley Lyons
GUITARS, Drums and screams burst from the roof of the Glasgow SSE Hydro as 5 Seconds of Summer took to the stage.
The smell of freshly shampooed hair whipped everyones nostrils and shoulders as teenage gals let out their biggest screams and swayed for Calum, Ashton, Luke and Michael.
The Aussie lads who are more grimy and stubbly than One Direction who they used to support, were met by a wall of high pitched tonsils as they appeared on stage to play Hey Everybody, their guitars and drum hypnotising their captive crowd.
Changing the lyrics of Money, Calum, whose dad is from Edinburgh, sang: "Take my keys for a great night out in Glasgow."
After a rousing rendition of Disconnected he and the others took to the mic to have a 'Glasgow off' each taking it in turns to become more Glaswegian.
Michael proved to be surprisingly talented when it comes to the Scots tongue .
The pacy Don't Stop was met with more lung Splitting and Castaway got everybody oh oh ohing in the right places.
Jet Black Heart was a massive singalong while during Beside You everyone wished they were alongside the boys on stage.
Luke revealed his favourite song was Vapor, a slower paced anthem which let everyone get some breath for even more screams.
They needed them for next number, the epic End Up Here which saw people jumping to the beats as a sweat soaked Ashton encouraged them from his drum kit.
The guitars screamed along with the fans for Good Girls and everyone was on a high despite it being a school night.
The icing on the cake was when Calum, who admitted he was home from home, played bass in time along to the now well known Glasgow gig chant of here we f***ing go and then ran it straight into the Proclaimers 500 Miles.
Permanent Vacation and The Romantics cover What I Like About You followed before the smash She Looks So Perfect.
Most of us were a hot mess after if but who cares. This was the start of rock n roll.

TROYE SIVAN SHOWS CARING SHARING SIDE AT GLASGOW GIG

Beverley Lyons
TROYE Sivan showed he was a caring sharing kind of guy when he invited lucky fans who had missed out on tickets to his sell out show in Glasgow at the weekend.
The South African-born Australian singer, songwriter, actor and YouTuber met some fans as he popped out for a Starbucks and a shopping trip on Sauchiehall Street and put them on his guest list after hearing they were unable to get prizes briefs for his sold out QMU show.
The twenty year old star was met by screams as he played his first ever gig in Scotland at the weekend on his Blue Neighbourhood tour - and he even attempted a Scots accent.
Troy who featured as a young James Howkett in X-Men Origins: Wolverine thrilled with his cute charm and self penned songs like For Him, Fools, Youth, Too Good, Talk Me Down and Ease.
He told the crowd it was only his third or fourth day in Europe and that he apologised if his pants were falling down - because he's forgotten his belt.
No one seemed to complain.
After hearing the chants of here we f***ing go, he told the audience: "When I go to other places I'll be like, do you know what Glasgow said to me? Why can't you guys be as cool as Glasgow was?"
He even managed to try his hand at the local patois by saying: "Are you coming oot on the town to get mad wi it?"
Troy entertained and stayed at the Glasgow Uni Queen Margaret Union till the wee small hours after his gig.
After seeing him in the flesh no one needed to take a Happy Little Pill.
Troy hasn't yet tweeted, instagrammed or snapchatted about his first experience in Scotland but we reckon it's just a matter of time...

GIRLS NIGHT OOT PERFORMER FENDS OFF STAGE INVADER WITH GIANT WILLY

The Scottish premiere of Girls Night Oot at Glasgow's Webster Theatre was a resounding success and even saw one enthusiastic audience member try to storm the stage.
The bolshy and bantertastic musical sequel to stage hit I Will Survive tells the story of four girls on a hen night.
With songs from the 60’s,70’s, 80’s, 90’s and now, it managed to get everyone dancing in the aisles.
Producer director Paul Harper Swan and his Inside Out Production team provided plenty of laughs with cheeky new lyrics to accompany popular tunes like Steelers Wheel's Stuck In The Middle and Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl.

During a rendition of ABBA's Man After Midnight one man got hauled up on stage to be a stripper while the encore saw one over zealous audience member trying to get up on stage.
As she attempted to jump up and join the cast during their rendition of Tina Turner's Proud Mary she was fended off by one of the cast - Lauren Ellis-Steele - who played the bride to be - wielding an inflatable penis!
Sex mad Donna Hazelton, and the hilarious Alison Rona Cleland, joined Britney wannabe Natalie Tulloch in the supporting roles.
The show continues at Webster theatre in Friday and Saturday April 15 and 16 before heading to other Scots theatres below.
