MARK WRIGHT’S TOUR OF GLASGOW

MARK Wright has spoken about his love of Glasgow as he spent time in a plush Scots country club and after filming his latest series.
The former Towie star who is married to actress Michelle Keegan, has just completed filming on his new BBC series Clean It, Fix it, which sees him going to people’s homes and transforming rooms in their house as well as cleaning and fixing what they got.
Mark who was a guest DJ at Ingliston Estate and Country Club in Bishopton Renfrewshire over the weekend was thrilled to return to Scotland and reminisced about his time in Glasgow over the years.
Relaxing at the venue, which is just twenty minutes from Glasgow city centre, he said: “Glasgow and Scotland is my second home. My wife Michelle is always up in Glasgow and one of my best mates Arfan is from here too. I used to go shopping in the city centre and me and Arfan used to go partying together in the city when I was younger. I remember we went to Sugarcube club in Queen Street for a birthday party and it was brilliant. We went to the place opposite it too.”
“The first time I was ever here we went to Jumping Jaks too. Actually that was for my first paid personal appearance here. Obviously Michelle’s family is from here so it’s a great chance to come up and just relax.”
Mark enjoyed a beer, chicken tenders and truffle fries at Palominos Italian restaurant in Ingliston before playing his latest set, ahead of Marvin Humes daytime DJ set with food at Ingliston on November 10.
He said:  “I’m staying overnight, so I’ll wake up for a bit of breakfast then I’m on my way. We’re in a Lodge. I love staying here and we brought all the family up last time. Michelle loved it and so did her grandpa who came last time. He is good. It’s such an amazing place and it’s becoming a second home.”
And Mark whose DJ set follows on from an appearance by Take That’s Howard Donald couldn’t resist a cheeky swipe at his fellow DJs.

He laughed: “I’m DJing in between Howard Donald and Marvin Humes. What’s the best thing about a sandwich? It is the filling. Howard can be the granary bread,  Marvin can be the gluten free bread and I’m the cheese, ham, coleslaw and everything else.”
Tickets for Marvin Humes DJ appearance from 2pm-9pm November 10 are available here https://ingliston.com/events/marvin-humes-jls-day-club

MICHELLE KEEGAN AND MARK WRIGHT CELEBRATE AT INGLISTON ESTATE AND COUNTRY CLUB IN BISHOPTON

MICHELLE Keegan and Mark Wright spent the weekend partying at a Scots estate and country club to celebrate her grandfather Michael’s 90th birthday.
Michelle and her family including Scots born dad Mike, and her brother Andrew booked their three day long celebration at Ingliston Estate and Country Club in Bishopton, near Glasgow Airport.
Mark, who had also been booked to DJ at the venues Galentine’s lunch party in their grand marquee on Saturday, had initially asked Michelle to join him as an extension of their own Valentines Day celebrations.
But, according to insiders, when Mark showed her the swish venue, the couple thought it would be perfect for her grandfathers own party and ended up booking Ingliston’s boutique hotel, function room and some lodges exclusively for their use.
Michelle and Mark are believed to have hosted fifty of their own guests at the venue, which also saw Mark party with over five hundred revellers.

The three day long celebration began on  Friday when Michelle and Mark were spotted by fellow diners enjoying a meal at the resort’s Palominos restaurant.
As she and Mark tucked into their food order from a menu which includes dishes like haggis croquettes, and prawn tempura, they were joined by other Scots born family members who soon took over a large section of the restaurant.
The following day Michelle was spotted enjoying time with the horses on-site at the 100 acre country club twenty minutes from Glasgow centre.

She also posted a picture of herself beside her grandfather as they tucked into a pint of Guinness following her breakfast of some square sausage, and told her followers online: “Let the weekend celebrations begin. Happy 90th birthday grandad.”
Michelle also made a brief appearance onstage with Mark, her dad, grandad  and other family members as revellers chanted her name at the venue during his set, but the star became overwhelmed as she was swamped for pictures from adoring fans.

Later the couple and their relatives and friends headed to the art deco Salerno Suite, which boasts furniture from the Savoy hotel, to carry on with their celebrations.
They are believed to have carried on until the wee small hours and left the venue today.
An Ingliston spokesperson said: “We were delighted to host Mark Wright, Michelle Keegan and their family for what turned out to be a momentous occasion. It’s not everyday you get to celebrate your grandfathers 90th birthday and we are delighted such a high profile and much loved couple decided to spend his birthday with us. It made our Galentine’s event even more special.”
The couple plan a return to the venue which says it has other ‘big name’ announcements coming soon.

The Scottish reality couple who were last seen on Couples Come Dine With Me after giving one another ‘terrible tattoos’ on Just Tattoo Of Us have been trying to keep hush about the sexy new show for Channel 4.

The show starts Friday 26th April at 10pm on Channel 4 and the couple told friends that they will see a different side to them.
A close friend of the couple said: “Brian and Victoria have been boasting about their antics. From the sounds of it there are no holds barred for their sex tape.”
Brian admitted he and Victoria’s love life has gone from wild to woeful. He said: “At first we went through the Kama Sutra, but now there’s no spontaneity when it comes to our relationship anymore, especially when it comes to the sex. We need help because we used to have an amazing sex life and it’s flipped the opposite way now.”

According to a spokesperson for the show arguing couples will have their home rigged with cameras to capture everything from the heated rows and the reconciliation – to the sex.In each episode, the couples hoping to fix their relationships meet each other, along with a sex therapist, for a “new therapy”. Executive producer Gary Chippington said the show was a “ground-breaking series”. “Sex Tape promises to be a perceptive, revealing and surprising social experiment offering a fascinating insight into intimacy.”

TOWIE STAR LAUREN POPE AND THE INSPIRATIONAL GLASGOW CANCER PATIENT

TOWIE’S Lauren Pope spent her evening at Scotlands Hair and Beauty Awards at Glasgow’s Hilton hotel with an inspirational cancer patient.
Former beauty queen Melissa McNaughton, 29, is now a hair stylist at her own Mac Hair salon in Glasgow.
But just weeks ago Melissa was diagnosed with leukaemia and is now undergoing chemotherapy treatment.
Melissa who undoubtedly is still in shock about her diagnosis said: “Lauren and I have known one another for years and I’ve worked with her hair extensions before. We’ve become friends over time and our relationship is very natural.”
Lauren who was a guest of SHABA organiser Joanne Reid and Hair Rehab London who she works with invited Melissa to the event as her guest.
We’ll be seeing more of Melissa as she takes part in the Carry On Prancing charity dance contest with Gok Wan.
Lauren who was being wooed by a variety of eager Scots men on the night  told me: “The hair stuff takes over my life twenty four seven so that’s what I’m mainly doing. Also I’m filming TOWIE at the moment and everything’s very busy but it’s how I like it.
TOWIE is good And real life but I have a very different group of friends I spend most of my time with when I’m not filming so I like to keep that separate and have a bit of normality. You can go through the filming have the dramas and go back to reality I guess.”
